PyTorch announces ExecuTorch Hackathon in San Francisco, Oct 17-18, with three device tracks

PyTorch announced the ExecuTorch Hackathon on Oct 17-18 at Founders Inc., San Francisco, part of Open Source AI Week 2026, co-hosted with Meta, Qualcomm, GitHub and the PyTorch Foundation, capped at 200 participants. Teams of 3-5 pick one of three tracks — Compute (Copilot+ PC), Mobile + XR, or IoT — receive matching devices (Snapdragon PCs, Samsung Galaxy, Arduino) plus GitHub Copilot Pro+, and build on-device AI deployments with ExecuTorch. Proposals are now open.
