Multi-robot SLAM with GLIM: robots share localization in real time without a prior map
___Mufasaa · x · 2026-09-25
Japanese developer abudoriimgproc demonstrates a multi-robot SLAM setup based on GLIM: multiple robots each run SLAM while sharing their self-localization in real time, without building a prior map.
The author's vision: a junior robot relying on a senior robot's localization to show up at an unfamiliar site and get to work — no pre-built map needed. Useful reference for multi-robot coordination and mapless deployment.
