ROS Graph working group announces NoDL to kill boilerplate in ROS nodes
kamathsblog · x · 2026-09-25
At ROSCon Global, the ROS Graph working group announced NoDL (Node Definition Language), a set of tools for defining ROS node interfaces to help write cleaner code with less boilerplate. The poster notes boilerplate has been the biggest pain in ROS and similar stacks; agent skills helped in recent years but burn tokens, while NoDL needs none — adding it to his try-list.
