Developer haltakov open-sourced SimplePost to end the pain of rebuilding social media integrations:
- Every platform has different text limits, media requirements, upload flows and edge cases; SimplePost validates posts against each platform before publishing, converts images when needed, and centralizes integration logic as APIs change.
- With MCP, an AI agent adapts content per platform while SimplePost handles platform-specific validation, media adaptation and publishing.
- SDK, MCP server, CLI and a scheduling web app are all open source under MIT.
