The seven stages of AI-use denial, from 'outrageous accusation' to 'so what'

A taxonomy of how people deny using AI: from 'the accusation is out of line' to 'detectors are garbage' to 'only grammar checks' (simple corrections don't trigger Pangram), to admitting a few restructured sentences, to refusing to share logs, and finally 'who cares if I used AI' — often novelists, state judges, or senior professionals. Openly using and defending AI is fine; covering it in lies is always the second thing.
