NVIDIA Engineer: The Biggest AI Risk Is Brain Rot—People Sharing Agent Output They Never Read
JFPuget · x · 2026-09-24
An NVIDIA engineer argues the biggest risk of AI is "brain rot." His recurring scenario: a coworker shares a report on work they did, he spots something fishy, asks about it, and gets "the agent said that"—clearly they never read the report they shared.
He's not against AI and uses it heavily himself, but as a tool: he owns the result, questions suspicious output, and forces changes when unconvinced. His wish: some way to force people to actually read the AI output they share with others.
