Law school embeds students with lawyers for a year to AI-enable real legal work

Ice Miller and Indiana Maurer law school launched a year-long partnership built on the thesis that "think like a lawyer" is only half the job — lawyers must also "behave like a builder." One lawyer is embedded with every four students; they dissect real pieces of the lawyer's own work and test whether it can be AI-enabled, producing real outcomes for the firm rather than performative guest lectures.
