Oxford professor Philip Torr shares a funded route to do a DPhil with him via Oxford's Centres for Doctoral Training (CDTs). Applicants apply directly to CDTs including AIMS, Healthcare, Ellison and Intelligent Earth; once admitted, they can apply to him as supervisor. Deadlines fall in January, with full application instructions linked in the comments. He notes applicants may choose any supervisor, not just him.
