First Cybercab Built With Locally Made Nickel Cathode From Tesla's Gigafactory Texas

Elon Musk announced the first Cybercab built using Tesla's in-house cathode material, produced at the first cathode plant in the Americas at Gigafactory Texas.
Cathode production is a core cost and supply-chain lever for EV batteries, so localizing it marks another step in Tesla's vertical integration and reduces reliance on overseas suppliers.
