Claude models, textures and rigs characters in Blender in pure code
majidmanzarpour · x · 2026-09-24
The author used Claude Opus 5.5 to model, texture and rig a character in Blender purely via code from a concept sheet, then packaged the workflow into a first Blender skill for game dev.
How it works: at each phase Claude renders the model beside the reference and measures the gap in silhouette and proportions before proceeding — no eyeballing. Inputs can be concept art, model sheets or photos; output is a rigged asset with LODs, baked textures and a verified GLB/FBX. More references and detailed 2D images (multiple angles, zoomed details) yield better results.
