Pre-AI B2B tools are jacking up prices for agent access, with Salesforce charging even third-party agents
zeeg · x · 2026-09-24
Jason Lemkin observes that nearly every pre-AI B2B product is raising prices for agent access: Salesforce is increasing prices for third-party agents, HubSpot mainly for its own, a niche CRM used for 5+ years now wants extra payment for agent API use, and another product deprecated an API they relied on for a decade. He worries vendors aren't thinking it through — his agents' immediate reaction to the hikes is to question them — and guesses the only apps immune are those built agentic from day one. zeeg adds Salesforce always charges for everything it can.
