Claude Code cloud sessions go GA: Anthropic gives Pro users $100, Max $250 in trial credits

Anthropic's Claude Code cloud sessions are officially out of research preview. Running on Anthropic-hosted infrastructure, tasks keep going even with your laptop closed. Sessions can be started from the web Code tab, Claude mobile app, desktop app, or via claude --cloud in the CLI (GitHub connection required). Existing subscribers get a one-time credit — $100 on Pro, $250 on Max — separate from normal usage limits; claim via link or /claim-credit by Oct 7. If you hit a local limit, you can continue in the cloud until the credit runs out.
