404 Game Jam: one-line prompts, AI agents build playable Three.js games, 10 TAO prize pool

404-GEN announced a two-week 404 Game Jam (Sep 11–25, 2026) where you give an AI coding agent a single line and it builds a playable Three.js game from the open 404 recipe — every 3D object written as code, no meshes, no asset store, no hand modelling. Prize pool: 10 TAO ($1,300), with 5 TAO to the winner.
Key details:
- Workflow: clone the 404-game-recipe repo (npm install && npm run selftest), optionally sign up for Atlas credits for reference images/textures/sound, then paste your one-line idea into your agent
- The reference kart racer took 10 million tokens and ten hours with the full method
- Everyone gets the same recipe and test harness; the differentiator is your idea
- Six demos already built this way: a kart racer, desert shooter, farm, night market stall, locked-room mystery, and arctic stealth mission
- Timing rides on Claude Opus 5.5 going live, 40% cheaper and 30%+ faster than Opus 5
