OpenAI shipped a major ChatGPT Voice update, which president Greg Brockman calls a "mega upgrade":
- Voice can now invoke tools/plugins like email, calendar, and Slack
- Powered by GPT-6 Astra, Sol, and Luna
- Integrated into ChatGPT Work on web and mobile — create docs, decks, sites, and spreadsheets or tackle complex browser tasks just by talking
Rolling out globally today in the latest app version. Voice is shifting from pure conversation to an agent that executes.
