Adobe has completed its acquisition of Topaz Labs, the AI company behind industry-leading video and image enhancement models and winner of a 2025 Emmy Award for video technology.
- Topaz continues as a standalone brand, with its apps and models still sold separately
- Its award-winning tech is already in Adobe Firefly and Photoshop for upscaling and enhancing images/video while preserving natural detail
- Proprietary Neurostream technology lets professionals run complex AI models on-device or in Topaz's cloud
- Use cases include restoring archival footage, low-light enhancement, mobile clip refinement, and bringing AI-generated video to professional quality; it also helps enterprises modernize legacy content at scale
