Alibaba Cloud wins $50M in back-to-back deals, including Wuxi Token factory project

Wuxi Digital New Infrastructure announced Alibaba Cloud as the tentative winner of its "Token factory" equipment and services procurement at 356.05 million yuan ($50M), against an estimated budget of 360 million yuan. The project will build a converged computing platform supporting smart city and manufacturing AI workloads.
Together with the 399.3 million yuan cloud rental contract for 22 national courts won five days earlier — which separately includes LLM token services with 882 per-card inference purchases — Alibaba Cloud has landed roughly 755 million yuan in deals within a week, spanning cloud resources, compute equipment and model API services.
