DeepLearning.AI launches short course on building AI assistants with on-device memory

DeepLearning.AI released a short course, Building AI Assistants with On-Device Memory, built with Qdrant and taught by Qdrant engineer Dylan Couzon. It teaches storing and searching an assistant's memories locally so no data leaves the device.
Topics include building a local memory system (store, retrieve, filter, forget text and image memories), an offline assistant recalling experiences across text/voice/images, recognizing new objects from stored examples without retraining, and running the assistant on Mac, Windows, and Linux. The course also includes a new AI coding lab using an AI coding agent in the DeepLearning.AI mobile app.
