Responding to the flood of AI-generated paper spam at conferences, @headinthebox jokingly proposes requiring handwritten submissions — a good fountain pen is cheaper than a MacBook, and EWD's handwriting tradition proves quality improves. He anticipates people using plotters or hiring human transcribers, but says that only gives Reviewer 2 more ammunition.
