Market doesn't care that content is LLM-generated, argues Rex Douglass

Rex Douglass argues the market already doesn't care that content is LLM-generated, because it never cared that humans shamelessly regurgitated each other's memes. People fighting AI content are defending a past that didn't exist, as protectionism against the next generation of competitors. He adds that academics' myths about the authenticity of research artifacts stem from doing no metascience work — almost all research output is derivative, cargo-cult, vague, and incompetently executed.
