Beyond viral Jev: China's Decitron and the rise of decision AI

TypeSafeAI's Jev, from an OpenAI-backed team, went viral with the slogan "Decisions, not strings" — turning model output into Choice/Score/Probability that software can execute directly, essentially an AI-powered if/else built for speed, cost and stability inside agents. This QbitAI piece contrasts it with Decitron, the general decision model Chinese firm Zhongke Wenge released in June, which combines a world model, multi-agent simulation, game theory and solvers to unfold decisions into multi-path future reasoning for strategy and complex systems. Both push AI output from generation toward judgment and action while explicitly quantifying uncertainty (current-confidence vs future-path uncertainty), signaling the field's shift from "can it speak" to "can it choose."
