Alibaba contributes $3M to Omarchy to build an ideal agentic OS

Omarchy announced Alibaba Cloud will contribute $3M USD to its foundation—matching DigitalOcean's $1M/year over three years—to advance the Omarchy Linux distribution.
The deal includes setting up Omarchy China (local CDN, hosting, meetups) and co-building an "ideal agentic operating system": tuning Omarchy for Qwen models out of the box with deep integration of Chinese services, so humans and agents can collaborate on a Linux desktop from first boot.
