Gabe Stengel, co-founder of finance AI startup Rogo, argued on Patrick O'Shaughnessy's "Invest Like The Best" podcast that finance may be the most suited domain for massive agent swarms — burning huge compute still makes economic sense when a single differentiated investment insight is extremely valuable.
His vision: every portfolio manager gets 10,000 agents debating, reading notes and pontificating for 24 hours, then delivering just one idea — one investors would happily pay $50,000 for.
