DavidLi and garykbrixi introduce Minerva, a genome-language-model approach for biological discovery. Mining large-scale co-evolution across prokaryotic genomes, they find UG27 reverse transcriptase systems encode variable arrays of diverse ncRNAs with a shared structure, each templating a short DNA hairpin.
