Geodesic opens NovaAtom structure-prediction model via new API platform

Geodesic has launched an API platform, opening its in-house models and drug discovery capabilities to scientists, developers, and AI agents for the first time.
The core model, NovaAtom, predicts structures of proteins, small molecules, and nucleic acids plus their interactions. It's available in Lite Preview — the first time it's exposed beyond Geodesic's own discovery platform.
The platform also integrates the field's core curated models, kept continuously updated.
The API uses a job-based design: submit a job, poll stage-by-stage progress (msa/prediction), and download ranked structures with confidence metrics (plddt, iptm). Full curl examples are documented.
CEO Quanquan Gu frames this as a step toward scientists and AI agents building drug discovery together, making AI native to how medicines are found.
