Stripe explains how agents detect and use checkout via WebMCP

Stripe engineer stevekaliski explains that agents know to use Stripe checkout WebMCP because pages are usually on .stripe.com domains, and on pages embedding Stripe the agent can look for the embed/iframes. With WebMCP, once the agent is on the page, the user/agent can navigate faster, reducing token and compute costs.
