NYT Writer: AI Agent Muse Handled Insurance Calls, Refunds and Bargaining in Two Weeks
armand_ruiz · x · 2026-09-23
A New York Times write-up hails Muse as the most useful AI app its user has tried. In two weeks it: called dental insurance and sat on hold, tracked hundreds of credit card transactions and canceled duplicate subscriptions, secured a refund over email, paid a parking ticket from a photo, ordered groceries and booked reservations, managed calendars, haggled with Facebook Marketplace sellers, and made personalized commute podcasts. The takeaway: general-purpose agents are already handling real-life errands — "we're still so early."
