OpenAI launches GPT-6 Sol and Luna: faster models with 50% cheaper API

OpenAI officially welcomed GPT-6 Sol and GPT-6 Luna, bringing much of GPT-6 Astra's advances into faster, more affordable models for work at scale. The company says improved caching and inference efficiency are being passed to users as 50% lower API prices versus GPT-5.6 promotional pricing.
