Agent Bayes launches MCP server for paper search and cited research mindmaps in Claude

Agent Bayes released an MCP server that connects your academic paper library to Claude, Codex, or any MCP client. It can index PDFs, create projects and knowledge bases, retrieve exact passages and page numbers behind claims, build/edit research mindmaps, and run a research agent for highly precise, cited synthesis.
To keep citations intact across tool boundaries, it forces the harness to first read an operating manual governing citation preservation, claim boundaries, and cost reporting. The service is hosted and requires an account: searching and reading indexed papers are free, while PDF indexing and the research agent consume credits.
