Claude Opus 5.5 ships with cheaper tokens, Fable-level intelligence and higher 5h rate limits

Claude team member trq212 detailed the Opus 5.5 release: clearer communication, cheaper per token than Opus 5.0 with the intelligence of Fable 5.1, very token-efficient, and working across every effort level.
Anthropic is also increasing 5-hour rate limits and introducing a banked reset for unused quota.
