Anthropic launches Opus 5.5: cheaper per token, Fable 5.1-level intelligence, higher rate limits

Anthropic officially announced Opus 5.5, built on user feedback. It communicates more clearly, is cheaper per token than Opus 5.0 while matching Fable 5.1's intelligence, is highly token-efficient, and works across every effort level. The company is also raising 5-hour rate limits and adding a banked reset.
