Anshul Kundaje criticizes a paper and its journal's peer review for neither citing nor comparing against ChromBPNet, the widely used SOTA method for bias correction. He argues authors needn't compare to everything, but pretending a field-standard method doesn't exist is strange — and peer review should have caught it.
