CAIS and Scale AI's updated Remote Labor Index shows GPT-6 Astra can now automate 20.8% of randomly sampled remote projects, up from 2.5% last October — an eightfold jump in a year. The benchmark measures AI automation of real remote labor rather than academic reasoning, with authors including Dan Hendrycks and Alexandr Wang.
