The author open-sourced a Claude Skill (github.com/bvdr/daily-planner-skill-remarkable) that generates daily planner PDFs with Claude and delivers them via Folio to reMarkable, Kindle Scribe, Supernote, and other e-ink devices. Install is two steps: add the marketplace in Claude Code and run /plugin install, or add the repo in the Claude app.
Key features:
- Pre-fills calendar meetings, priorities, todos, and follow-ups
- Shows today's date, ISO week, day-of-year, location, and live weather with a 7-day outlook
- Modular sections: schedule, top-3, habit tracker, time-block grid, water, meals, workout, gratitude, Folio reading queue
- Per-meeting half-page ruled notes sections
- E-ink-optimized rendering: pure-black text, 30–40% form lines, whole-pixel strokes, no greys or gradients
- Fully reproducible from a single JSON file; accepts photos or exported PDFs of yesterday's handwritten planner to carry over to the next day
