Moonshot Launches Kimi Browser Extension: Record Steps Once, Agent Replays Forever

Moonshot AI has renamed its Kimi WebBridge to the Kimi Browser Extension and shipped it on the Chrome Web Store, adding a browser sidebar where logged-in users can have Kimi navigate pages, click buttons, fill forms, and extract information.
Under the hood, a local bridge service works with the extension: agents send instructions to the local service, which executes them via Chrome DevTools Protocol in the user's Chrome or Edge. Moonshot emphasizes all operations stay on-device—login state and page content never leave the browser.
For repetitive tasks, users can record their steps once and save them as a "skill" that Kimi replays automatically. Official example use cases include automated research write-ups, smart form filling, and quant strategy backtesting.
