Engineer builds a $50k commercial robocart alternative from a gutted hoverboard

Engineer YukonK9 wanted to automate parts delivery on a production floor but balked at vendors charging $50k for a hub motor bolted onto a Rubbermaid cart. So he built his own: gutting an old hoverboard and raiding his R&D lab, he created the Robocart prototype running PX4 Autopilot Rover on an ARK Electronics FPV flight controller, soon to move boxes and finished sub-assemblies between stations. Also a showcase that ARK hardware isn't just for flying robots.
