HIRO Industries of Corvallis, Oregon unveiled Origin, its first robot: a stationary, human-scale dual-arm platform for workstations. Specs: two 7-DOF arms, 17 DOF total including grippers and lift, compliant parallel grippers, and head plus dual-wrist RGB-D cameras (1280×800, up to 60fps RGB). It targets repeatable tasks like packing, kitting, and light assembly as accessible automation.
