Chang Robotics founder loses bet, does factory acceptance test in Buffalo

After losing a bet over Josh Allen, Matthew Chang had to personally attend a factory acceptance test in Buffalo instead of delegating to his engineering team. The visit to HFW Industries introduced him to their high-precision manufacturing and advanced coatings capacity — high-velocity oxygen-fuel spray coatings that dramatically improve equipment life and reliability. He notes one of HFW's largest customer champions moved over to join the company, and that Jack swapped his meeting into a sales pitch, which became the running joke of the story.
