LlamaIndex launches DocJev: OSS doc classification 6x faster than gpt-5.6-luna

LlamaIndex founder Jerry Liu introduced DocJev, an open-source library for lightning-fast document classification and splitting from natural-language category rules. It claims 6x speed over gpt-5.6-luna at equivalent accuracy, with pluggable OCR backends (liteparse for speed, LlamaParse for complex docs). The philosophy: keep routine business ops lightweight and reserve intelligence-heavy tasks for larger agentic systems. An interactive 40-document visual accuracy report is included.
