Responding to Sriram Krishnan's claim that 'my agents should be able to do anything I can on a computer or phone,' Seth Lazar and coauthors publish 'The Agentic Web Requires New Normative Infrastructure.' The paper argues the agentic web is technically feasible but blocked by outdated laws, ToS, and platform practices that fail to distinguish malicious bots from user-delegated agents, and proposes concrete implementation paths.
