Suricata 8.0.7 fixes dozens of CVEs as AI-assisted analysis drives vulnerability surge

The open-source network IDS Suricata released 8.0.7, a security release fixing dozens of vulnerabilities — including at least two CRITICAL and multiple HIGH severity CVEs.
OISF says this is the release with the highest number of vulnerability reports ever, attributing the surge to the rise of AI-assisted code analysis. Fixes also cover performance, accuracy, and stability issues; private tickets will be made public two weeks after release.
