davidbau (MIT) reports that AI is shifting campus culture by isolating students who are "ditching communal studying." His countermeasure for professors: after lecture, march the whole class to a student center for a giant peer homework group.
He says his class did this and "it was glorious" — a simple, replicable teaching practice against AI-driven isolation.
