Responding to a chart showing that hospitals adopting AI fastest had the fewest deaths in 2026, kimmonismus cautions against reading causation into correlation: better-funded, better-staffed facilities may both adopt AI earlier and achieve better outcomes. The key question is whether facility differences and patient-group composition were controlled for.
Still, he believes AI could transform healthcare — doctors he knows spend an absurd amount of time on documentation, and in bureaucratically heavy systems like Germany, AI and AI agents could deliver immense benefits.
