Apple's security team published a proposal for an opt-in camera mode on iPhone 18 Pro producing a "reference image": the sensor signs pixel data in hardware at capture, the image is developed inside Private Cloud Compute, and the final signature is post-quantum (RSA-3072 + ML-DSA-87).
