Jeff Bezos: AI Won't Kill Jobs, It Will Cause a Labor Shortage

In a CNBC interview, Jeff Bezos pushed back on claims that AI will eliminate radiologists and software engineers: "These people are wrong" — AI will elevate all of them. His metaphor: a software engineer digging a basement with a shovel should be thrilled someone's handing them a bulldozer. He also predicts AI will lead to a labor shortage, not mass unemployment.
