Nautilo: open-source multi-user desktop where people and agents share one room
Dan_Jeffries1 · x · 2026-09-21
Nautilo is a 100% open-source desktop/mobile/web app built around people and agents working side by side:
- Create a radically customizable, persistent agent ("Genie") that stays with you;
- Multi-user, multi-agent rooms where the right Genie joins the conversation naturally, no @ ritual;
- Send your Genie to talk to a coworker, share docs and bring back answers;
- Self-host with Docker locally (your keys, your database), deploy to the cloud, or wait for managed Nautilo Cloud.
Unlike prompt-and-pray tools, humans can take over and edit directly when AI screws up—what the author calls "co-creativity".
