EA and rationalists still flawed at being honest with themselves, argues commenter

The author argues it's good to have a group committed to honesty with the public even when the public is revolted — but that requires being honest with ourselves first, and EAs and rationalists remain fairly flawed at that, though in his view still better than most communities.
