Redditor burned 150B tokens getting Claude to book flights, then built LetsFG, an MCP/API for AI travel booking

A Reddit user spent 6 months and roughly 150-230 billion tokens (about 38.8B/month, running 6 terminal windows daily) on Opus 5 and Fable 5 just to have Claude book his flights — and it finally worked. The effort spawned LetsFG, an MCP/API service that lets AI agents book flights on any airline worldwide. It undercuts major sites by splitting round trips across Skyscanner (outbound) and Kayak (return), never sees your payment details (Revolut processes them), and requires one-click email approval per booking. The project now books more flights via AI agents than humans and is pulling 500+ GitHub stars weekly.
