Only 9.9% of top sociology papers share replication packages, half fail verification

An empirical assessment of computational reproducibility in sociology (a new I4Replication discussion paper) finds that only 9.9% of top sociology articles from 2019–2024 provided replication packages — and about half of those could not be verified due to missing or incomplete materials. A stark picture of reproducibility gaps in empirical social science.
