Running a Jev-inspired agent on a laptop: Qwen 3 1.7B plays VIZDOOM locally on 4GB VRAM
Inside_Ad_6240 · reddit · 2026-09-20
A Reddit user demoed a Jev-inspired AI agent running entirely locally: built on Qwen 3 1.7B Q8, with custom inference-level tricks on top of llama.cpp to access internal model signals and drive Jev-style decision-making in VIZDOOM.
The whole setup runs on a laptop with an RTX 3050 (4GB VRAM), motivated by the recent Jev hype.
