Ethan Mollick complains that bots know who Benjamin is because they've read all of human literature, making replies technically higher quality but no less annoying: "If I want Gemma 27B's opinion I'll ask it myself."
In the quoted post he adds a funny/tragic/apt observation: the second sentence of a 1935 essay ("This does not diminish its importance, however; if anything, it underlines it") reads to him as if written by Claude, further fading the work's aura.
